I had a blast talking with Hannah Rosner (Legacies) and feature writer Erica Schreiber for today’s Writers Panel episode. Hannah and Erica are 2/3 of the Untitled Female Driven Podcast, a terrific resource for writers starting out and a great refresher for writers who’ve been at it for a while. In their podcast, Hannah, Erica, and co-host Jess Chou cover topics they wish they'd known about film and TV writing when they were getting started.
In this second part of our Crossover Event, I chat with Hannah and Erica about exactly that: lessons they learned early in their careers. We first discuss the business of writing, including lessons about what to say in meetings and when to turn down a project. We then talk about the craft of writing, which includes insights into knowing yourself as a writer.

Yes, this is the second part of the crossover! You can listen to the first part in which Hannah and Erica interview me for some reason on their website, Apple, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
That double feature was a lot of fun - I'd been thinking for a while that someone should interview you. I'm glad someone finally did. A great way to end the year.
Spotify tells me I'm a top 0.5% fan of the Writers Panel. My brain doesn't do numbers, but I think that means I'm kind of a stalker. Which is good, right?
Anyway, I'm so grateful for your work. I've had a strange year, the good has been pretty good, the bad pretty bad. The one thing that has helped through it was becoming more serious about my writing, and in doing so I rediscovered your podcast, caught up with new episodes and re-listened to old ones. I selfishly hope you keep going, because those Q&As have also been the highlights of my year, but mostly, I wish you a gentle, successful New Year.
1pm EST for Marc this weekend? Excited for this one!
